About Us
Mission Outreach International, Inc. is a non-profit organization.
History
Mission Outreach International, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Wisconsin in April 2006. The idea behind its formation was conceived in the city of Cleveland , Ohio , USA , in 1990, months into the Liberian civil war. As the war prolonged, it became clear that a good number of innocent people, especially kids, were bound to suffer and would need assistance to rebuild their lives after war. This realization has been the motivating factor for MOI to provide assistance to suffering people through education, charity and economic empowerment.
Currently, MOI is involved in charity and humanitarian work in Liberia , West Africa . The Wah-Wede Bedell Community Center , located on Bushrod Island , Republic of Liberia , is our pilot project offering adult education, literacy, women empowerment, and kids-after-school Programs. It began operation on December 23, 2005. Our next project is The Nora Giple Community Center set to begin operation in December, 2006, in Lakpasee , Liberia .
